childcare
Our childcare programs help children develop physically, socially and mentally. Children learn how to get along with others and develop communication skills. We have programs for children of all ages.
parenting classes
We help parents have a positive impact on their children’s development, self-esteem and behavior. Classes address everything from bedwetting to making sure a child’s homework gets done.

mental health programs
We help families and individuals cope with the stresses and strains of everyday life.
empowering women
The YWCA has always been in the business of helping women and girls develop their skills, abilities and self-esteem.
eliminating racism
At the YWCA of Contra Costa/Sacramento, we believe that all people are created equal, but we recognize that all people are not always treated equally.

residential housing program
Our residential housing program provides long-term transitional living to women who are eligible. Each resident has convenient access to public transportation, gorcery and drug stores. Mental health counseling, workshops and group support are also available to our residents.

commercial rental program
The Sacramento YWCA building has rental space available for meetings, meals, performances, worship, yoga and dancing.

breast cancer awareness program
The ENCOREplus Breast Cancer Awareness Program offers clinical breast exams and mammograms, breast cancer education, and a water exercise program for cancer survivors.
