Week Without Violence Townhall October 2026

October 10, 2026

Every October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, YWCA's Week Without Violence campaign brings communities together to raise awareness, inspire action, and advance solutions to end gender-based violence.

Register now for our free virtual Town Hall on October 20 at 3 p.m. ET and join a powerful conversation about one of the most urgent issues facing young people today. This year's theme, Rising Together: Centering Young Voices to End Gender-Based Violence, shines a light on the disproportionate impact of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, grooming, and exploitation on young people, and why their voices must be at the center of prevention, healing, and change.

The Town Hall will feature exclusive clips from the powerful documentary Watch You Rise, followed by a live conversation with filmmaker Isabella Grace Cohn and YWCA leaders Rebecca Munoz Ripley, Executive Director of YWCA Sauk Valley, and Shannon Nagy, Executive Director of YWCA Walla Walla who are working on the front lines of violence prevention and survivor support.

Register today to join this timely and inspiring conversation about healing, hope, and the action we can take together to create safer communities and end gender-based violence.
